Excavation & Land Management in the Driftless Region
From driveways and drainage to site prep, grading, and rural property work, Lee Land Management helps get your land ready for what’s next.
Done With the Whole Property in Mind
Excavation work is not just about moving dirt. It is about knowing where the water will go, how the ground will settle, and whether the work done today will hold up through the next hard rain or heavy use.
In the Driftless Area that matters. Steep ground, clay or sandy soils, runoff, and changing grades create problems when a project is rushed or planned only for what looks good on day one.
The goal is simple: do the job in a way that makes sense for the land.

Local Operator, Local Knowledge
I'm James Lee, and I've been running equipment professionally for years. Growing up on a farm, I learned a strong work ethic, how the ground works, and what it takes to do a job right the first time.
Lee Land Management started with my passion for hunting and making better deer and wildlife habitat. That's still some of my favorite work. Over the years the business has grown into excavation, grading, drainage, land clearing, and everything in between.
What I enjoy most is getting on a piece of ground, seeing what it needs, and reshaping it into something that works. Whether that's mulching out a brushy hillside, cutting in a road, or finishing a site, watching the land change from start to finish is what keeps it interesting.
I'm a lifetime member of the Coon Valley Conservation Club and have volunteered there over the years. When you call, you get me and my crew, locals who know this ground and take the work seriously.
Coulees, Ridges, & Everything Between
Lee Land Management is based in Coon Valley and works throughout the surrounding Driftless Region. If you're on a ridge top, down in a coulee, or somewhere in between, chances are we've worked ground just like yours.
